UART
Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter that produces an electrical signal and timing for transmission of data over a communications path, and circuitry for detection and capture of such data transmitted from another UART.
unicode
The Unicode standard is a fixed-width, uniform encoding scheme from written characters and text. The Unicode character encoding treats alphabetic characters, ideographic characters, and symbols identically, which means they can be used in any mixture and with equal facility. The Unicode Standard is molded on the ASCII character set, but uses 16 bit encoding to support full multilingual text.
