What is an N2KAnalyzer "boat file"?

N2KAnalyzer allows you to save information about a particular network for a given boat or vessel into what is called a "boat file". You can read the boat file back into N2KAnalyzer at a later time or you can even send the boat file to Maretron’s technical support for help in diagnosing a network.
