Can I use the DCR100 to detect burnt out lights or burnt out loads?

Yes, you can use the DCR100 in conjunction with Maretron’s display products (e.g., N2KView, DSM150, or DSM250) to detect burnt out loads. You can do this in one of two ways; 1) setup a favorite screen to monitor the DC current for a particular load and manually observe when the current is zero and the load is turned on, or 2) setup an alert ("Burnt Out Bulb" or "Low Current When On"), which will automatically monitor the current and, when the current drops below a programmable amount while the load is switched on, you will be alerted through the displays.
