Why do I hear a clicking sound when the DST100 is plugged in?

Estimated Reading Time: < 1 Minute

The clicking sound is the DST100 transmitting a sound wave. The sound wave is reflected off the bottom and returns to the DST100. The DST100 calculates the distance to the bottom by measuring the round trip time of the sound wave.
