How do I set a "Device Instance" for a Maretron sensor using the DSM250?

To set a "Device Instance" for a Maretron sensor using the DSM250, simply press the enter key (far right hand button) to view the "Menu Mode", scroll to "Configuration", hit enter, select "Device Configuration", hit enter, scroll to the desired device you wish to change the instance on, press enter, scroll to "Advanced Configuration" , hit enter, scroll to "Instance" press enter, scroll to the desired Instance  press enter.
