I navigate using magnetic heading and not true heading; how do I use the SSC200 compass and Maretron’s DSM150, DSM200, or DSM250 display to view my heading in magnetic?

The SSC200 compass outputs heading information in magnetic format, so you just need to properly configure the DSM150, DSM200, or DSM250 to display heading in magnetic. To view magnetic heading on the DSM150, DSM200, or DSM250, do the following:

1. Enter menu mode by pressing the key
2. Scroll to "Units:" and press
3. Scroll to "Heading:" and press
4. Scroll to "Magnetic" and press
5. Press the key three times to return to normal screen viewing.
