How do I calibrate the SSC200 rate of turn using Maretron’s DSM150, DSM200, or DSM250 display?

You calibrate the SSC200 rate of turn using a DSM150, DSM200, or DSM250. To calibrate the rate of turn using one of the displays:

1. Enter menu mode, scroll to "Configuration..." and press
2. Scroll to "Device Configuration..." and press
3. Scroll to the SSC200 and press
4. Scroll to "Rate of Turn Zero Offset Calibration..." and press
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the calibration

If you do this calibration at a couple of temperatures (early in the morning right after you power the compass and again at the hottest part of the day), the SSC200 will provide accurate rate of turn indications across that temperature range.
