The SSC200 compass is aligned with the vessel by pointing the arrow shown on the top of the compass towards the bow. There are alternative mounting options, which can be found the users manual. Once you have performed magnetic deviation calibration on the compass, you can get the heading from the SSC200 to agree with other compasses on the boat by loosing the mounting screws and manually rotating the compass. You can also align the compass electronically using a DSM150, DSM200, or DSM250 by doing the following:
