What type of rudder senders does the RAA100 work with?

Estimated Reading Time: < 1 Minute

The RAA100 works with resistive rudder angle senders (i.e., the resistance changes with rudder angle). In the U.S., the standard for resistive senders is 240 to 30 ohms where 240 ohms represents 60 degrees to port and 30 ohms represents 60 degrees to starboard. The European standard for resistive senders is 10 to 180 ohms where 10 ohms represents 60 degrees to port and 180 ohms represents 60 degrees to starboard. The RAA100 can be configured to accept either American or European sensors, or sensors with different resistance profiles.
