I see that Maretron’s DSM150, DSM200, and DSM250 displays have a TLA100 configuration setting called "Tank Number:"; what is this?

Maretron's DSM150, DSM200, and DSM250 displays have a TLA100 configuration setting called "Tank Number", which is used to set the tank number so subsequent transmissions from the TLA100 can identify which tank of a particular fluid is being reported (a system can have up to 16 different tanks of that fluid type).
