I see that Maretron’s DSM150, DSM200, and DSM250 displays have a J2K100 configuration setting called "J1939 Source Address:"; what is this?

Maretron's DSM150,  DSM200, and DSM250 displays have a J2K100 configuration setting called "J1939 Source Address:", which is used to program the J2K100 to accept only messages from a certain J1939 device. For example, there might be several devices connected to the J1939 network and the J2K100 needs to understand which device's messages needs to be translated to NMEA 2000.
