Trip log is the distance traveled since the last reset and can be used to record how far you go on a particular trip. Total log is the total distance the vessel has traveled since the DST100 was purchased and installed on the vessel. You can reset the trip log at any time using a DSM150, DSM200, or DSM250, but you can't reset the total log.
