How do I know if the GPS100 is locked on and producing a position fix using Maretron’s DSM150, DSM200, or DSM250 display?

You display whether or not the GPS100 has a fix on a DSM150, DSM200, or DSM250 in the following way:

  1. Enter menu mode, scroll to "Favorite Screen Setup..." and press < Enter >
  2. Scroll to the favorite screen where you would like to view the GPS status and press  < Enter >
  3. Scroll to "Data:" and press < Enter >
  4. Scroll to "GPS" and press < Enter >
  5. Scroll to "Status" and press < Enter >
  6. Press the < Back > key three times

Scroll through your screens to the favorite screen you selected for viewing the GPS status and look to the top left hand side of the screen where it says "GPS Status:". The GPS100 is not locked and not providing a fix if the status lines reads "No Fix". If the status line reads 2D, 3D, 3D-DGPS, then the GPS100 is locked on and providing a valid fix.
