The RIM100 can be used to monitor a Parker/Racor "Water-In-Fuel Detection Kit" (Part Number RK30880E) to indicate water in the fuel filter. First, make sure the RK30880E is properly connected and working (see attachment for wiring diagram). Next, connect a wire between the V1+ terminal on the RIM100 to the +12/24 vdc connection to the warning light. Connect another wire from the V1- terminal of the RIM100 to the other side of the warning light. Finally, configure an "Indicator" within the DSM250 or N2KView displays, which will provide a visual indication whenever water is detected in the fuel. You can also configure the DSM250 and N2KView Platinum to provide an alarm whenever water is detected in the fuel.
