Article Details

When you purchase N2KView, you get a hardware license key or dongle that plugs into a USB port of you vessel’s computer. The dongle should be plugged into the USB port of the computer that is connected to the NMEA 2000 network via the Maretron USB100 gateway. The dongle comes with a single floating license that lets you run a single version of N2KView either on the local computer connected to the NMEA 2000 network or from any other computer that can be networked back to the computer that is connected to the NMEA 2000 network via the USB100. If you want to run N2KView from different places simultaneously, you need to purchase additional licenses.
