To create a favorite screen on N2KView, simply click on the administrative tab "Screen Setup".
In the screen setup select button: "Add New Screen".
First edit the screen name under the "Screen Properties" title field. To edit the area size of your screen simply, enter the values within the height and width category as the number of boxes you wish to see vertically and horizontally. To load a background image for your favorite screen, simply select "Browse" select the image and click on open.
Second, Create your component. Using your mouse left-click and hold to start an area sweep on the grid layout. Let go of the mouse button when you are satisfied with the area you have selected. Once the "parameter window appears select the data you wish to see.
The component editor window will appear. Reference section 8.4.6.9 in the N2KView users manual to understand the fields available in the component editor. Once you are complete with the component editor click "SAVE".
When you are satisfied with the favorite screen click on "SAVE" under the screen properties section to go back to the main page to view your finished design.
