The WSO100 is a sensitive electronic measuring device that should be handled with care during installation. The proper way to mount the WSO100 is to place the detachable pole mount on the mounting pole without the WSO100 attached. Next, attach the NMEA 2000 cable and/or inline terminator to the WSO100. Finally, attach the WSO100 to the pole mount with the supplied screws. Never twist the WSO100 onto the mounting pole by holding the top of the unit, always twist the WSO100 from the base if you need to make slight alignment or tightening adjustments. Lastly, always make sure you strain relieve the cable and don't let the weight of the cable running up a mast hang on the WSO100 connector.
