Unfortunately, the DST100 can not be calibrated for Speed Through Water (STW), however, the DSM200 and DSM250 can adjust the values coming from the DST100 so that you can effectively calibrate STW. On a DSM200 or DSM250, enter the menu mode, scroll to "Configuration..." and press enter. Scroll to "Device Configuration..." and press enter. Scroll down to the DST100 and press enter. Scroll to "Speed Calibration..." and press enter. Scroll to the value you believe to be the correct STW. You might want to reference the Speed Over Ground (SOG) from a GPS but this should only be done if you are sure there are no water currents. Once you have set the appropriate STW, press accept. Pressing back one time will return you to the DST100 configuration screen where you can see the multiplier used by the DSM200 or DSM250 to adjust the STW from the DST100 (number after "Clear Speed Calibration"). The DSM200 or DSM250 multiplies the actual values from the DST100 by this number to arrive at the displayed value. Since the calibration data is not stored in the DST100 but rather in the individual displays, each DSM200 or DSM250 must be calibrated in the same way.
