There are rare occasions when the GPS100 will transmit an incorrect date as reflected in the year. This can happen if the GPS signals are weak or corrupted and the GPS100 incorrectly interprets time from the satellites. You can fix this by resetting the GPS100's factory defaults using Maretron's DSM200 or DSM250 display. First, enter menu mode, scroll to "Configuration..." and press enter. Scroll to "Device Configuration..." and press enter. Scroll to the row containing the GPS100 and press enter. Scroll to "Restore Factory Defaults" and press enter and then press accept. This will force the GPS100 to forget the previous incorrect date and recompute the time/date and position.
